R713/R448 Knocktopher to Ballyhale Footpath

In accordance with Part 8, Article 81, of the above regulations, Kilkenny County Council hereby gives notice of
proposals pertaining to the following development:

The provision of new Footpaths, Drainage and Public Lighting for the R713/R448 Knocktopher to Ballyhale.
The Project will include the following;

- 858m of continuous footpath 1.2 - 1.8m wide.
- Public Lighting including ducting chambers and columns.
- Associated road markings, signage, surface water drainage, fencing and soft landscaping.

Plans and particulars of the proposed development will be available for inspection from Friday the 17th January 2020 to Friday the 14th February 2020 inclusive, at the following Kilkenny County Council offices:

The latest time and date for receipt of submissions on the development is 4.00pm on Friday the 28th February 2020. Submissions should be clearly marked "R713/R448 Knocktopher to Ballyhale Footpath- Planning Submission"

In accordance with the requirements of Article 120(1)(a) of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001 (as amended) a preliminary examination has been made of the nature, size and location of the proposed development. This preliminary examination has concluded that there is no real likelihood of significant effects on the environment arising from the proposed development and a determination has been made that an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is not required.
